elementor-size-default\">Prof Haitao HUANG<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b76920f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b76920f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Dr. Huang Haitao, fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, is a tenured professor in the Department of Applied Physics at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1990 with dual bachelor&#8217;s degrees in Applied Physics and Applied Mathematics. Subsequently, he pursued his master&#8217;s studies under the renowned \u201cTwo Bombs, One Satellite\u201d pioneer, Academician Wu Ziliang, earning a Master of Science in Materials Physics from the Shanghai Institute of Metallurgy, Chinese Academy of Sciences (now the Institute of Microsystems and Information Technology) in 1993. In 2000, he received his Ph.D. in Materials Science from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He joined the Department of Applied Physics at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2004, serving successively as Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. His long-term research focuses on the preparation, characterization, and physical mechanisms of dielectric materials and novel low-dimensional nanostructured materials for new energy applications. To date, he has published over 400 papers in internationally renowned journals including <i>Nature Photonics, Nature Communications, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Energy &amp; Environment Science, Advanced Materials, Joule,<\/i> and<i> Angewandte Chemie<\/i>, with over 29,000 citations and an H-index of 92.
